144328 Thoughtful Branches Bundle $52.00
This is truly a gorgeous bundle, and I love that there are so many possibilities with this versatile set.
For todays card, I ran a piece of kraft cardstock measuring 4×5.25in through my big shot using the Woodgrain textured impressions embossing folder. I stamped and die cut the flower blossom using marina mist ink on marina mist cardstock and made 2 of these for a beautiful blue hydrangea. I gently crumpled up both flowers, off-set them from one another on the card, and added a layer of dimentionals between the two for a more realistic and layered bunch of flowers.
I curled the leaves slightly out from the stem using my bone folder, and only adhered the stem to the card front. I stamped my sentiment in basic black ink on a piece of white cardstock measuring 1x4in. To complete the card, I used a double piece of linen thread and tied a bow and attached it to the card with a glue dot.
I hope you have enjoyed todays card. Watch for more samples from this gorgeous bundle in the coming days!
Welcome to my new blog, Stampin’ Harvest! I look forward to sharing some of my inspirations here, as well as teach you new techniques and tips. I enjoy card making, traditional scrapbooking, and creating 3-D projects such as treat holders for my boys classroom, so you will see a wide variety of paper crafting ideas!
Today, I am featuring one of the hostess stamp sets from the annual catalog, Love You Lots. This stamp set is so darn cute!! What friend wouldn’t love to get this cute little ladybug card in the mail!
I used a note card for the base. You can get a pack of 20 note cards and envelopes all for $6.00, which is a huge time saver because they come already cut and scored (item # 131527). My polka dot layer is from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack and it measures 3 1/4 x 4 3/4. Next, I stamped the ladybugs and sentiment in versamark on white cardstock and used black embossing powder to give it a pop.
I then used my Layering Squares Framelits to give the card some dimension by popping them up with dimensionals. Last, I added some white bakers twine and tied a bow. This card would be a great one to mass produce or switch up the colors as it is quick and easy to put together.
