It may be hard to think about Christmas with this hot Nebraska weather, but couldn’t resist playing with this sweet little Christmas bear from the new Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set. It is available in the new Holiday Catalog which you will be able to purchase from on September 1st.
Today’s note cards are all about a Beary Merry Chiristmas. This will make a cute little card set to give out as a gift. By adding some envelopes and a belly band, I’m set for a sweet teacher gift! I plan to make several of these sets for an upcoming Craft Fair in my local town.
Have Yourself a Beary Merry Christmas!

OK, just one more from the exclusive bundle Thoughtful Branches and then I will move on to some fall projects. In just a few more days, actually on Sept 1st, you will be able to order from the Holiday Catalog! I promise, you will love so many of the holiday stamp sets, papers, and bundles. My list keeps getting longer!
Todays card is a very similar card we made while I was in Chicago at Gathering For Greatness. This was designed by my very talented friend, Lisa Pretto. I thought this card was so simple but elegant and I wanted to share it with you today as well as the dimentions so you can recreate this card.
*The card base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 heavy white cardstock, a layer of 3 3/4 x 5 white cardstock ran through the big shot using Petal Burst textured impressions embossing folder was added.
*I cut out a tree from white cardstock using Thoughtful Branches framelit. To release the tree from the framelit, I used the handy little die brush and it pops right out!
*I cut a white piece of cardstock 2 x 3 and wrapped some night of navy solid baker’s twine around this piece four times and tied a knot. I then carefully added dimentionals behind my tree and added it to my white piece which was also popped up on dimentionals to add depth to my card.
*With my night of navy ink, I stamped a bird on white cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating framelit and added it to my tree with a glue dot.
*Stamped my sentiment with real red ink on a piece of white cardstock measuring 3/4 x 2 1/4 and cut a banner on the end. And, that is it!
See you next time!
As promised, I have another card from the beautiful bundle, Thoughtful Branches! The sentiments alone in this stamp set are a win win! I love everything about this font. So fun and modern!
You’re in my thoughts
For todays card, I ran a 4×5 1/4in piece of crumb cake cardstock through my big shot using the petal burst textured embossing folder. This is probably my favorite embossing folder out of the annual catalog! I seem to always go for this one! I stamped my sentiment in Dapper Denim and used my layering squares framelits to cut out 2 squares. I then added a layer of Dapper Denim cardstock using the scalloped framelit. I love that the square and scallop framelits coordinate so nicely together. I added dimentionals behind the sentiment and the bottom white square to give my card a pop! I cut out the leaves in Garden Green using the coordinating framelits. Added some linen thread around the crumb cake cardstock before I attached the sentiment and base to my card. I like how this card turned out, simple and clean!
