OK, just one more from the exclusive bundle Thoughtful Branches and then I will move on to some fall projects. In just a few more days, actually on Sept 1st, you will be able to order from the Holiday Catalog! I promise, you will love so many of the holiday stamp sets, papers, and bundles. My list keeps getting longer!
Todays card is a very similar card we made while I was in Chicago at Gathering For Greatness. This was designed by my very talented friend, Lisa Pretto. I thought this card was so simple but elegant and I wanted to share it with you today as well as the dimentions so you can recreate this card.
Details:
*The card base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 heavy white cardstock, a layer of 3 3/4 x 5 white cardstock ran through the big shot using Petal Burst textured impressions embossing folder was added.
*I cut out a tree from white cardstock using Thoughtful Branches framelit. To release the tree from the framelit, I used the handy little die brush and it pops right out!
*I cut a white piece of cardstock 2 x 3 and wrapped some night of navy solid baker’s twine around this piece four times and tied a knot. I then carefully added dimentionals behind my tree and added it to my white piece which was also popped up on dimentionals to add depth to my card.
*With my night of navy ink, I stamped a bird on white cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating framelit and added it to my tree with a glue dot.
*Stamped my sentiment with real red ink on a piece of white cardstock measuring 3/4 x 2 1/4 and cut a banner on the end. And, that is it!
See you next time!
