It’s another hot hot day here in Nebraska! Wheat harvest is in full force at our house. The boys decided to ride along in the truck with daddy so that means I get some quiet time in my crafty space this afternoon!!
I’m playing along with the weekly Tic Tac Toe Challenge again this week #tictactoechallenge. I chose the middle column across…pearls, die-cut and butterfly.
Actually, I’ve had this cute little butterfly sitting on my craft table for a couple weeks. I intended to use it on another project but changed my mind. It was the inspiration for todays card design! This card just makes me happy! So many of our Stampin’ Up! colors pair nicely with the Lemon Lime Twist, but I love the Basic Black against it.
Product List: Thick Whisper White cardstock, Basic Black cardstock and Fresh Florals DSP Stack(144131), Butterflies Thinlits(137360), Stitched Shapes Framelits(145372), Ticket Tear Border punch(143718), Linen Thread, Orange Blossom Stamp Set(143765) and Pearl Basic Jewels.
Thanks for stopping by!
I’m excited to be playing along with another Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week. For todays card I used the Grown With Love Bundle from the new annual catalog. I love all the little framelits to this set! It makes cutting out those sweet little flowers and leaves a snap.
I’ve chosen the bottom line across for my project…..yellow, stitching, and rectangle!
I’m in love with the little terra cotta pot! So many possibilities using this pot with all our other beautiful floral stamp sets. This was on my A list when the catalog first came out. By buying the bundled stamp and framelits, you can save 10% which is a win win!
Product List for todays project: 145337 (wood)/145338 (clear) Grown With Love Bundle, 131537 Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes, 144193 Color Theory DSP, 145372 Stitched Shapes Framelits, 104199 Linen Thread, Ink pads…Cajun Craze, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Emerald Envy, 104430 Stampin’ Dimensionals, 144108 Mini Stampin dimensionals, 104332 SNAIL Adhesive and 143263 Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.
Today, I am participating in the first ever Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I chose the top line across to create my card; stripes, circle and gold.
For my card today, I cut three strips of Wood Textures DSP measuring 1.25 x 5.25. I stamped onto my strips using the flowers image from Wood Words stamp set with early espresso ink. I then roughed up the edges by running my paper snips along the sides. To add dimension and give it a rustic look, I inked up a stampin sponge in early espresso and added some color around the edges. I do like how it turned out!
Card base: Early Espresso cardstock
Inks used: Early Espresso, Sahara Sand (second impression) and Versamark with Gold Embossing Powder
Stamps used: Wood Words
Other: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Wood Crate Framelits, Linen Thread, Delicate White Doilies and Metalics Sequin Assortment.
Thank you for stopping by today!
